The bed is the single one place where we spend the most time in our 24 hour day. Science has shown that sleep is a period during which the brain is engaged in a number of activities necessary to life—which are closely linked to quality of life. So for us, our quality of sleep takes precedence over any disappointment that we cannot sit up in bed when we wake up to enjoy the view.
What is not commonly realised is that Feng Shui dictates how each of us respond to the earth’s magnetic field.
In both our case, if we were to sleep with our feet to the window, we would be receiving very negative energies that would impact my health and would impact Kim’s total wellbeing. This is so important that we set aside our personal preference to look out the window.
At the start of our project, Kim and I made a pact that for this to be the ultimate Feng Shui build, we would not compromise the Feng Shui at any point.
We learnt early on in this project that when we stay true to the Feng Shui and focus on working through each situation together, we always came up with a very satisfying outcome. The bed and view conflict is no exception.
Allow Kim to show you how we resolved this conflict and came up with a solution that we love.
